  1. Circuit A is the parallel circuit and it has the brightest lamps.
    This is because in a parallel circuit, each lamp gets the full voltage from the cell, so they shine brighter. In circuit B, which is a series circuit, the voltage is shared between the lamps, so they are dimmer.
    Also, resistance is lower in circuit A because the current has more than one path to flow through. This means that more current flows through each lamp in circuit A.
    To keep the test fair, we must keep the number of lamps and number of cells the same in both circuits.
