  1. Measure the temperature before and after adding each metal to silver nitrate solution.

    Use the same amount of metal and the same volume and concentration of silver nitrate each time.

    Make sure the starting temperature of the solution is the same for all tests.

    The metal that causes the biggest temperature change is the most reactive.
