  1. First, I would use a pipette to measure 25 cm³ of ammonia solution and transfer it into a conical flask. Then I would add a few drops of methyl orange indicator and place the flask on a white tile.
    Next, I would fill a burette with sulfuric acid, read the initial level, and then start adding the acid to the flask. I would swirl the flask gently while adding the acid, especially drop by drop near the end point, until the indicator changes colour.
    Once the colour changes, I would record the final burette reading. I would repeat the titration until I get concordant results.
    After that, I would mix the same volumes of sulfuric acid and ammonia without using the indicator. I’d pour the solution into an evaporating dish and heat it until crystals start to form. Then I’d leave it to cool, filter off the crystals, and leave them to dry.
