  1. Speed is calculated using the formula: speed = distance ÷ time.
    Race A is the shortest distance, and Race D is the longest.
    Race B and C are the same distance, but Students B and C take different times.
    Student D takes the longest time to finish their race.
    Calculations:
    Student A: 15 ÷ 6 = 8.3 m/s
    Student B: 100 ÷ 15 = 6.7 m/s
    Student C: 100 ÷ 14 = 7.1 m/s
    Student D: 200 ÷ 31 = 6.5 m/s
    Conclusions:
    Race B is twice the distance of Race A, but takes more than twice the time.
    Student C is faster than Student B (same distance, shorter time).
    As race length increases, average speed decreases.
