    Pre clinical trials must be done where the drug is tested on different cells, organs and tissues in order to test the toxicity of the drug. Afterwards, clinical trials must be done on a small group of healthy volunteers in order to test the side effects and find out the correct dosage. Then, the drug should be tested on a group of patients in a double blind trial in order to find the efficacy of the drug alongside prevent bias. Afterwards, the drug can be tested on a larger group of people and it can be used in the medical industry.

    The drug is first tested on cells and tissues. Then it’s tested on animals to check if it’s safe. This helps find out if the drug is poisonous (toxic). Scientists also check if the drug works (efficacy). They test different doses to see how much is safe.
