  1. I would choose variety A because it has large potatoes, and variety B because it grows quickly and produces lots of potatoes. I would crossbreed them by transferring pollen from the flower of one variety to the flower of the other. After the cross, I would grow the new plants and choose the ones that have both large potatoes and grow fast. I would repeat this process over several generations until all the offspring have the desired characteristics.
