Wood is a renewable resource, so it won’t run out, but aluminium comes from ore, which will eventually run out. Also, it’s more expensive to process aluminium.
A wooden frame is heavier, so it costs more to transport, uses more fuel, and is harder to handle and put up.
Wooden greenhouses don’t last as long and need to be replaced more often, while aluminium ones last longer, so fewer are needed over time.
At the end of their life, both materials can be reused, but aluminium can be recycled over and over again.
