  1. Measure a fixed volume of acid using a pipette.

    Add a few drops of indicator to the acid in a conical flask.

    Slowly add sodium hydroxide from a burette while swirling until the colour changes.

    Record the volume of sodium hydroxide used.

    Repeat the same steps for the other acid.

    Compare the two volumes of sodium hydroxide used — the acid that needs more sodium hydroxide is the more concentrated one.
