Describe how the effects change with wavelength, using information from Figure 14 and Figure 15.

  1. UVA is mostly transmitted or only some is absorbed.

    UVB is partly transmitted or mostly absorbed.

    UVC is not transmitted, mostly absorbed, or some is reflected.

    As the wavelength decreases, absorption increases and transmission decreases.
